My wife wants to make spotted dick but has no idea where to get suet. Anyone know where or possibly what she could use as an alternative.

    Many thanks

I got suet in Dunnes Stores last week for making mincemeat. It was in the baking section. Forget the brand name, it begins with an A.

They only have the vegetarian version, but it worked very well for the mincemeat.

It's called Atora - in the baking section as tSubh says. Look for a yellow box.
