Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Preview
Roma president Rosella Sensi has urged the fans to be patient despite the team's dismal start to the campaign.

The Giallorossi are hovering above the relegation zone in Italy's Serie A having won two and lost six of their 10 matches.

But Sensi has backed her team ahead of Sunday's city derby against Lazio.

"Despite the adversities we have faced at the start of this campaign, we cannot arrive to rushed conclusions," said Sensi.

"If the team was considered among the best in terms of performances several months ago, I don't understand how that can suddenly be forgotten.

"We cannot lose track of the team's achievements in the past.

"Roma have achieved success at national and international level, winning their ninth Coppa Italia last season as well as the Italian Supercup."

Roma coach Luciano Spalletti also guided the team to the quarter-finals of the Champions League and a runners-up finish in Serie A last season.

However, Sunday's 1-1 draw at Bologna, which earned Roma their first point in five league games, has left Spalletti on thin ice heading into this weekend's big match at the Stadio Olimpico.

Its a big derby this weekend. Based on form cant see Roma getting anything out of this game. They have been improving as of late but to what extent I'm not sure.

Lazio are having a good start to the season and a win could put them in the CL spot

Kaka scored a contested penalty to help AC Milan cut the gap on Serie A leaders Inter Milan to a point with a 1-0 home win over Chievo on Sunday.

The Brazilian picked himself up to score after appearing to be tripped just outside the box on 15 minutes, with second-placed Milan just about edging the game despite some nervous moments.

Napoli also scored thanks to a dubious spotkick but failed to join Milan on 26 points after two late goals gave Atalanta a 3-1 home win.

Champions Inter won 2-0 at Palermo on Saturday thanks to Zlatan Ibrahomivic's superb double. AS Roma and Lazio meet in the Rome derby in Sunday's late game (1930 GMT).

You need luck some times to stay in the challenge
