Hi, The best Apple store in Limerick is 'Logic 2', Steamboat Quay, off the Dock Rd. Much better service than Compu B.

Don't 3G in authers quay do apple? Fairly useless shop as far as I remember though.

I also remember seeing Apple products in O2 stores.

An Apple shop in Limerick, I thought there were only a few of those worldwide.

Dont think Apple are opening in Limerick as O2 was a distributer for their products until a falling out recently. So Apple are opening a store in Dublin but would find it doubtful for them to setup directly in Limerick...

Actually I found out today that Apple are opening a store beside Brown Thomas in the coming weeks, a mate of mine got a job there and is starting next months I believe.

There is no official Apple store in Limerick. I'm not sure there is even one in Ireland at all. Theres a couple of ones mentioned here that do seem to specialise in doing mainly Apple stuff alright.

The only time I've ever been to an official Apple store was in New York, fairly close to central park! I don't think there are loads of them across the world, so one opening in Limerick seems very unlikely!

I heard that compuB is relocating to the space beside brown thomas. Not actually an apple store. But if you are correct i will be so excited. I am an apple fan.

Just got an 24" I MAC. Oh my god, it's unbelievably fantastic. Got it through Compu B and got Adobe Creative Suite at next to nothing. I just can't stop talking about my new Mac, and it looks soooo cool too. Good luck!

That shop just looks like the most inviting shop ever with all it's white shiny stuff...
Have a mac myself and it takes a ridiculous amount of self-control to stop yourself going in there and buying something new!

Would I be able to go in there and rant about how iTunes Ireland doesn't allow you download films and TV shows like the iTunes US and UK do? Cos I've been in touch with customer support already and all I've got is cheerful if perfectly useless responses from them.

Yes, I am a female...curious why you ask. I bought it because I use one at work....I dabble in graphic design and any designer worth their salt will tell you that Macs are the only option for graphic design. They take a bit of getting used to if you are used to working with PCs, but in my opinion they are far superior.

The fact that they are so clean, cool and clutter free (plug it in and away you go...no endless frustrating cables) is the icing on the cake.

the Loc, got a great deal: the almighty Imac, extra memory & Creative suite for €1600 + VAT.

Creative suite has indesign, photoshop, Illustrator and other adobe programmes and retails at about €2300 but I got it for €230 + VAt as a student. (I'm not, but theres ways and means around that ;))

It's not Apple's fault. They would need to get distribution rights for Shows and Movies here and it's not exactly easy or worthwhile for them considering Ireland isn't such a huge market for them
