How personal do you expect to get on boards?

With relation to posts about moderators on personal forums ,I'm really curious about what people personally expect from boards.

Me ,I don't get involved on this part of the site at all. I just post mediocre ways.
I work in construction so I suppose ,it's not as real for me.

I really can't understand the crap on boards sometimes and why people are banned from forums.

I dont use this part of the forum meself. I think it was in hee that I told some fella to puck the snot of the lad he found his missing mugging the face of. I got banned for a week for inciting violence or something along those lines.
Other than that I haven't used this part of the site or any site to be honest to sort out my personl problems. I normally go to the pub and have a feed of bottles and an ould whinge if lifes getting me down. Wake up the next morning with a new lease of life.
I dont feel the need to air my problems with strangers, I know that sometimes that is actuall;y better than talking to friends cos you will get straight answers, no baiting around the bush and that.

I presume thats what your question was, if not well then ya know I like beer now lol.

cos the current law means they can be sued by people for the stuff on this site,
the same as a newspaper can be sued.

I utterly appreciate that and I really think boards is the best website in Ireland ,if not the world.
But I really feel there is far too big a private group ,that decides what actually happens on boards now.
And then there is people who sniff around looking for some of the pie.
