Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've pretty much only listened to metal for the past 6 year, but in an effort to expand my horizons I've started listening to some electronic stuff. So far I've found bands like Way Out West, Hybrid, Vibrasphere and Solar Fields pretty enjoyable. The music seems to have depth, isn't very repetitive and overall I enjoy it. Has anyone got any other bands they'd like to recommend me?

Antix - Wanderers (more minimalish) or Lull
Perfect Stranger - Free Cloud or Changed
    Atmos - 2nd Brigade
    Ace Ventura - Rebirth
    Frogacult - Something for Sundays
    Insane Creation - Filestyle

You can find 4 minute samples of all the above on http://www.saikosounds.com/english/default.asp

If your into Way Out West / Proggy kinds of stuff etc take a look at Leftfield, Fluke, Orbital, also try out the Sasha & John Digweed northern exposure mix cds, are very kind of downbeat but progressivey.....

Its good just to listen to bands but with progressive house its more about the labels. Alots of bands will go under different names. Here are a few good labels with alot of good release's:

    Bedrock
    Baroque
    Method
    Boz Boz
    Hope
    Whoop!
Global underground (alot of good progressive Dj mixes)
    Audio Therepy

You should find the same producers poping up on all these labels so you can find one's you like. Beatport is great for scanning through a label for good music.

Here is some good producers you may like:

    Tim Davison
    Robert Babicz
    Quivver
    Jerome Isma Ae
    Glenn Morrision
    Chris Micali
    Jay Lumen

    Hope this helps.

    Ciaran.

    Here's an earlier thread on the same thing. Plenty of great recommendations in here;

I'll recommend anything by Shiloh, Luke Chable, Hybrid, and particularly Dousk who are my favourite Progressive artists for the last while.
