I got my first 2 points for speeding last week put have just realised that I gave the garda my old license that was lost at one time but later found after I’d gotten a new replacement, wondering have I got myself into more trouble or even is there is a chance the points won't happen??

All your licences will have the same number regardless of when they are issued.
