ATI 3470

Lockstep

Looking at a laptop with the ATI Radeon HD 3470 as the graphics card, seems a decent enough machine and I'm wondering will it be ok for moderate gaming.

Would it be able to play any of these on decent specs for example:
Morrowind/Call of Duty 1+2/Medieval Total War II?

I have a dell with 2.0ghz Core 2/8600gt, it can play nearly every game at decent settings except Crysis really.If your interested in games.

From this user review below, the 3470 should be able to play those games more than fine.

3470 should be well-plenty to run your older games, and handle crysis reasonably well.

Roughly the same as the 8400GS. Enough for Morrowind and Call of Duty at highest settings, Call of Duty 2 at highest settings in Dx8 mode (which makes it look more like the first game, even now COD2 is fairly punishing on low end cards in dx9 mode for such an old game. Medium settings would be OK in Dx9). Crysis would limp by on the lowest settings.

If it's gaming you're after I'd stretch to something like these for an extra 100-150 or so, you'll appreciate it in the long term with video cards twice as fast as the 3470.

The last one there with the 9600GT and 2.26Ghz Core 2 is a beast for the money, and 3 times faster then a 3470, and faster then 3650/8600GT cards.
