recommend scope for jg g36c

I am looking to get a JG G36C but not sure what scopes will fit it, does anyone have any recommendations as to a decent one, preferably on eirsoft site as would like to get both together, saves on postage

I think it looks pretty good on my 36c, has different reticule shapes, red and green illumination and 3 different brightness levels for each. and it's dirt cheap. Granted i don't have any long term advice seeing as i just got it, but i'm sure some of our boards vets shall point you in the right direction.

Is it an actual magnified scope your after or even a red dot sight?

THe one linked above is pretty good since its compact and doesnt interfere with your vision like some of the larger more "in your face" looking sights do. Ive used an eotech aswell as a load of other sights on my own g36 but i find the small reflex dot sight is the best.

Its the same of the one from the G36k etc. i have one fitted to my G36 at the moment and its handy as a carry handle and looks cool too, although the eye relief on is is pretty bad,.,

Which is better to have red-dot or magnified? I know in any CQB situation would probably negate the need for magnified but besides that would it be better to have magnified?

having a magnified scope is pretty handy, as ya said the type of play dictates what will be best in any given situation. you could go for something like an ACOG with or without magnification and it has iron sights on top of it, theres also another type of ACOG sight that has a small red dot ontop of the ACOG so ya get the best of both worlds.,

While in the UK a bout a month ago I saw a policeman at the airport carrying a G36 with an EoTech 552 type scope on it. It's the first time I can say that a G36 looked good.:p

Seriously looked the business. I've since bought this one below for my VFC SCAR. Very happy with it.:)

You can get the EoTech 552 as per defenderdude's recommendation and consider with that a magnifier such as the following:

There are lots of cheaper options available, this is just an example.

These are nice; any compact sight would look good on the G36C and all would preform pretty much the same IMO.
