Sony seem to think that they are special and only special ones will work.

Any bluetooth headset will work with your PS3. You can pay €50 if you want one from Zavvi or HMV or something or buy one on Ebay

The new Official PS3 Headset is coming out here at the end of the month if you can wait, should be able to get it for about €25-30 from somewhere not trying to rip you off. There's also a SOCOM-Confrontation bundle due at the same time with the headset if you like that game series. The official headset has a few advantages over other headsets, like high-quality mode, easy pairing with the PS3 and an in-game headset status indicator. It also comes with a USB charging cradle.

i have an official PS3 bluetooth headset, is perfect for it, got it in argos for about 30 or 40 i think!

got the motorola one, problem his how do i get it to work!! playing it with call of duty wow and i turn the game on and there seems to be nothing coming out of it when i turn it on!!! help!!

what i had to do everytime for GTA was before i start the game go to the PS3 menu where all the settings are and stuff, go to accessory settings and there should be bluetooth or something and pair it! i had to this everytime i wanted to use it got a bit annoying as you can imagine

maybe its the same try it!
