Kylie Minogue is to return to her TV roots - she's set to host next year's Brit Awards.

The 'Spinning Around' hitmaker, who shot to fame on Australian soap opera Neighbours, will front the music awards show on ITV in February.

A source told the News of the World: "Kylie's confirmed with bosses at the channel and they couldn't be more pleased. They were desperate for her to host last year but, as she was gearing up for a tour, the timing wasn't right."

I wonder how many costume changes their will be :rolleyes:

I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure i've seen her on a TV show since the 1980's.

Was anyone watching this last night?

Is it just me or was there a problem with the backing tracks for Duffy and Coldplay?

I'm sure I heard them warble/distort in the middle.

I know it's common place for acts to only perform 'Part Live' ie just a live vocal.
