    Great idea Kev.

    So is this going to be a thread where we suggest particular awards for the year or nominate actual posters? Like awards for Best poster, most improved poster, funniest poster, best blog, etc.....

    No point having it tbh as the 2 main awards poster of the year (hotspur) and thread of the year (hawkeyes night on the tiles) are already locked in imo.

    Myabe we could split the poster of the year category in two to recgonise the theory side of the forum and the entertainment/education/ranting side of things?

    It's actually great to see the development of the forum through those Awards, looking at the Indo Organiser of the Year award, in 2005 there were 20 Votes, in 2006 65 Votes and last year 112 Votes. How many this year??

    Yeah it would be I was half way through doing this and thought you might give out for nto using the correct thread, it was also make your job 12 times easier.

    Off line player of the year : Marty Smith / Fintan Gavin / James McManus
    Player of the year: Marty Smith
    Online player of the year: Two nominations in the West here - Seamus Hoban / Jude Ainsworth - Both within two weekends of each other got third place in the Pokerstars Million.

    I know it's not poker related but since it's been a very common theme in the OTT for the year maybe a best TV series award?

    Also, for the more moorbid side we could have a "First person to top themselves due to the recession award?"
