Girl friend , Just hit pot hole , bucket ally, wrecked tire , tracking gone , think there is other damage but its dark and cant see , Pot hole was a crater Live in tipperary Who's paying for this? What do i need to get them to pay for it very annoyed

tracking gone , think there is other damage but its dark and cant see , Pot hole was a crater

Get a photo of the pothole if you can, and find out which council is responsible for that bit of road. Photo the damage to the car and get a repair quote from a recognised garage. Then send a letter with photos and quotes to the council. They are obliged to pay.

I'm not sure if they are obliged to pay in all cases - I think its just in cases where they were notified but didn't fix it within a reasonable timeframe.
