Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Closed back headphones

I'm looking to buy a new pair of closed back headphones soon. I will use them at home plugged into my hi fi but also to listen to my MP3 player in town, luas and library etc (hence the need for them to be closed back).
I honestly listen to everything from classical to rock so the more versatile the headphones the better,I don't want any basstastic boom boxes!

I've done some reading online and have only found extensive reviews of 2 units, the Sennheiser HD 25 and the Sennheiser 280s. Now i'm not biased towards Sennheiser but I have always been pleased with their products, i've owned numerous pairs of cheaps MX 500s and still own a pair of PX 100s (which I love for their price).
My other current earphones are Etymotic ER6is which sound well but have been giving me some ear trouble lately.

The HD 25s are slights over my budget (retailing at around €150) which I set at about €100 but their reviews are so good i'm still considering them.

Also finally, I am as self conscious as the next guy so i'm afraid fashion does come into the equation slightly, they can't be EXCEPTIONALLY ugly anyway!

    Any suggestions?
    Thanks
