Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Best place to watch the Celtic games in town?

I'm flying from Shannon on the Sat evening and wanted to visit family in Ennis before hand. The Jambos game is at 3pm so I wouldn't have time to watch it in Galway first; I'll have to get the earlier bus down to Ennis.

Anyone know any good 'tic pubs? You know, ones with actual fans in rather than a load of knacks wearing Celtic jerseys although they support Man Utd/Liverpool...

I've seen a few games in Maroney's, is this the best spot?

I think El Paso used to be hte place, I wouldn't think so now since the re-vamp. As you say, Maloney's usually has a few jersey's in there, but I would imagine that Knox's would be the place to be, I don't think I've ever been to the pub to watch a Celtic game so sorry if I'm leading you astray.

Also, the Diamond I think has Celtic sign or something up

El Paso.. I've heard the name before but where the hell is it??

Never been in Knox's during the day so no idea what the crowd is like. Liverpool are playing at the same time though so I'd imagine most pubs would be showing those that game:rolleyes:

El Paso's became Shenanigans.. became something else.. then became a restaurant. Which went out of business a while ago. I haven't looked in a month or two. Assume there isn't another pub opened there now?

Knoxes is probably the best bet. Or Charlie Stewarts.

I'm not from town... where abouts was El Paso's in relation to other pubs? :D

El Paso has been closed at least 18 months...Knoxes on Abbey street or Charlie Stewarts on Parnell Street is the spot

Moroneys is the spot where the Celtic lads watch the games.
