Been snowing in Donegal since Thursday and christ it is cold. It's like 10 inches of snow on top of a solid sheet of ice. The rents almost slid off the road today while they were crawling along.

Thread title changed for Christmas. The reason I am excluding emos is because they will be too busy hating and hurting themselves.

    Possibly vouchers or clothes.

    You?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,242 ✭✭✭chordtype

Pretty much the same. I'd much rather a voucher than someone buying me something I'd never wear.

I've dropped enough hints that it should be for Topman. Need a new suit.

    Topman. Just no. NO.

What's not to like about Topman (apart from their t shirts)? Best place to buy skinny jeans in Ireland.

Im to fat for Topman, so Burton ftw

    Topman?
Personally I avoid all shops that names could be used by some nacker.

They don't have one here so I don't know their stuff, so I never bother when I am near one.

    Also:
    Baggy pants FTW.
that and incredibly oversized lazy t shirts.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,242 ✭✭✭chordtype

Ah lads nothing wrong with some skinny jeans. I've worn them since I was 14 or 15 so it's at the point where I feel odd wearing anything but. I'm not the biggest of chaps either so I think they don't look that bad.

    Each to their own though.

Topman is pretty good. They do nice suits too. No need for the inverted snobbery lads.

What sort of stuff do they do?
    Besides suits and skinny jeans?

I try not to use normal shops for clothes buying because it is so annoying.

ASOS is very good, not sure if it is considered cool to use, but it always has a good selection and the bargains selection can be superb.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,242 ✭✭✭chordtype

+1 for ASOS. The fact that they nearly always have a sale going is a bonus.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,391 ✭✭✭D2D

Wow, this was the last place I expected to see a debate about clothes
