Pretty dark alright. I was planning to stay in on new years.. then I saw a woman kill a baby and felt I had to go out.

Hold up. She killed the baby herself?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,053 ✭✭✭D.Q

I think so? Maybe I wasn't paying attention...

but as far as I could see, she slept on the baby?

Either way she was walking around with a dead baby as people celebrated the new year..

Yeah i just caught it when she was crying and her sister was all "Whats wrong with the Bay-Bay!?"

And then when she went in to the room the kid was fine.
I had to piece everything together of what exactly happened after that..
Its not the best of a storyline. Eastenders would make you feel really crap if you were having somewhat of a bad day.

    or just having a day.

I very rarely watch these programs. Only the big storylines will prevent me turning over. Like richard in coronation st a few years ago. That was good.

Speaking of tv, Sky atlantic on the 1st of feb. I really cannot wait.

Anyone watch A Bronx Tale on RTE last night? Such a simple story but one of the best movies i've ever seen.

Also, a mate a work has just given me the entire Louis Theroux documentary collection, seems like a lot of TV to get through though, and even though I will obviously start with the wrestling edition, which of the other episodes are essential viewing?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,053 ✭✭✭D.Q

The one with the nazi kids was very enjoyable...

I love the episode where he goes to Vegas, but the Neo Nazi's one is all kinds of epic too..

That one was on last night on tv3.
Always weirds me out, white supremacists and that.

To be honest, any of the Louis Theroux shows are good, none are really stand out.
ALL of them will make you go: "Da FCUK?!"
I also seen on tv3 a few months ago that he's in the country filming a special about members of the travelling community.
That should be interesting. I would love to know his take on the goings on in limerick too.

Sky atlantic? Is that what sky 3 is going to be rebranded as?

No Ronnie's baby died a cot death and she switched it and took Kat's baby it sounds like it is from an American soap opera. Anyways BBC have got loads of complaints about the storyline.

I cried at the film The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas :( it was on RTE 1 last night

Back at work properly today. It both sucks and blows. Just depressing really.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,600 ✭✭✭✭CMpunked

I was looking at wiki about sky atlantic and one thing struck me:
    Sky alantic wiki

They have "funny or die" show listed. Surely there cant be a tv series of a comedy website?

What are you working at gimmick?

love their second names too: Lenny Leonard & Carl Carlson...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 21,296 ✭✭✭✭gimmick

I thought the 2 man power trip was that guy who posted pictures of me on other forums and Orestes? I just wish the latter would post me back the book I loaned to him about 15 months ago
