    Its not perfect but it would be hard to come up with a better alternative too IMO. I think there would be a lot to be said for some kind of continuous assessment that took into how a student performed overall in their last two years in school. But then again you would then b giving up the impartiality and anonymity that the curents exams affords you.

    In my experience those who deserve to do well in the LC generally do so. it rewards those who are prepared to put the work in which is fair enough IMO.

    and +1 on the leaving cert stuff. I didnt do great in mine, didnt fail anything though, yet still ended up in what I wanted but then again im now doing something completely and utterly urelated to that so... it aint the be all and end all thats for sure

    A bit late but Happy Birthday CmPunked. Just watched the classico great game again. That Mourinho gets on my nerves more than anyone else i've ever came across,pinching a guys ear & grinning. I'd of loved if he smashed Mourinho face in with a Combo like Vitor Belford did vs Wanderlei Silva many moons ago in UFC Brazil.
