Meh. I'd call it a lazy ending. I'd rather watch him die or live happily. They did similar with Rocky Balboa. Hate films that have that kind of ending. I don't understand the point in starting to tell a story if you're not going to finish it.

Which would you rather happen to him?
If they were to kill him off and that be that, it would be a pretty bad mood for the end of a downer of a film.

If they let him live they would probably have to give a reason for what happened after the match.

IMO they ended it perfectly, they left you with a sense of completion that the last thing that was seen of him was him smiling, being loved by the fans.

This is totally the wrong place for this chat, and have a feeling its all just going to be moved to the proper thread. ;)

    Quick question:

Whats the easiest/quickest way to send a load of photos to someone? Most sites like rapidshare, mediafire, etc. only let you upload individual files. Same for yahoo (to the best of my knowledge). Anyone know a way of sending/uploading an entire folder of pictures to someone?

    Bebo/Facebook/Myspace?

And i just realised i can RAR all the photos in a folder, eliminating my problem :)

    Cheers though Amacachi

EDIT: SR, sorry if that's considered "wrestling talk".

It's a movie, i'll consider it as off topic, as long as it doesn't stray to actual wrestling, it's fine.

Cheers. I'm finished talking about it now though. Was just a little confused.

After 8 and a half hours writing a tutorial on specialist software, for which i used Corel Videostudio X2, with the project being to create a DVD with full motion menu from a video file after being edited, written for someone who has zero knowledge of technology, i'm happy to say I'm done.

8 and a half hours of writing, rewriting, grabbing screens, editing screens, trying to eat, trying not to sleep, I can safely say I never, and i mean ever want to see that damn program again.

    I can finally sleep!

Making an edited version to remove my name from it before turning it into a pdf.

Really? So we're getting it off you?

Sounds good. Why remove your name though? We can hardly track you down.. and people here have met you in person anyway...

    Because
    1) I'm not giving everyone the link, it is my college project after all.
    2) It's being dumped on rapidshare, which means limited to 10 downloads
    3) It's a privacy issue which i prefer to to be respected.
    4) It may be unfinished as i might have to go back and edit it.

See it as an anonymous gift. ;)

When i studied multimedia i done video editing and production but i used Premiere pro.
What module is it for if your doing it for IT?
Or is it just to show that you can explain how to use a program instead of actually creating the video menu?

And there was me thinking your name was actually Shawn Raven.:o

I'm doing a teaching diploma in IT at present, and this section was to teach someone in specialist software (which is a moot point as most of the course i plan on teaching will actually be hardware based!), but it's part of the course and had to be done.

I picked VS because i've never had a good experience with Premiere Pro, not to mention it's 20 gazillion bugs in every version. I actually try to avoid a lot of Adobe products in the sense that they take the most simple thing, and complicate it just because they can. So when it came this part of the project, i kept it simple, kept it straight. That way it gives the person an option that if they did want to pursue that, then they could move on to Adobe Premiere, or Pinnacle Studio if they so desired.

But it was a case of showing them how to use the program and creating the menu as well.
And there was me thinking your name was actually Shawn Raven.:o

Even I wasn't destined for that level of greatness by inheriting such a cool name! :D
(although depole is always an option, but that didn't work for Jim Helwig so...)

True that, if you are up all night, repeatedly trying to put together a project and doing a write up on it at the same time, the last thing you want is Premiere telling you that the render had somehow become invalid because the clip you were working on has suddenly moved

OF COURSE ITS MOVED, ITS NOW IN THE MOVIE!!

Dam, anything over 10 minutes and that thing really gets to me.

    Anyways, fun times.

    How long you got left?

Down to my last seven weeks with assignments and projects coming out of my ears, with exams at the end of it. I never thought i'd hear myself saying this, but especially in the last two weeks, this place has actually kept me sane.

Crash course in teaching: Cram as much psychology, principles, practices as you can in a few short weeks. Say goodbye to sanity, hello padded cell! :D:D

I swear, if i kick the bucket before that miserable, depressing sweatbox excuse of a man does, i'll come back and haunt everyone who owns one of his dreary f*cking albums. :D

Heh, I don't think i'll be going before that slob, however i'll keep the whiskey in mind.

On the subject of music, at the end of Mania just before they showed the AC/DC package, they used music from a band, that i thought would never feature at any wrestling event, and a band i've been listening to a number of years now, VAST. I probably marked more for that than I did for any of the matches!

Sampler here, homemade vid as i don't believe this track was actually released as a single:

Love the bassline for this song actually, starts off so basic, and then goes completely random. Bastid to keep up with!

Ya can't bayte a bitta Christy. The passion the man sings with is unbelieveable.

Another band I'm only after finding lately too is The High Kings, I'm fairly impressed by them. Any fans on here?

Yeah, Lisdoon Lisdoon Lisdoon Lisdoon VARNAAA! Sooo passionate.
I could bayte him alright. Tie him to a railroad track and bayte him with a bleedin' hurley for hours.

I'd never get tired of that! :D

Nothing wrong with a light hearted, humerous song. Almost every band/singer in Irish history has one. If ya want passion look no further than Ordinary Man

And what you just said just proves that Dubs haven't the first clue about what to do with a hurley ;)

Which is why a lot of music that comes out of this wretched country is a joke.

To be fair, you could say that about 25 our of 26 counties in the Republic, cos Kilkinney seem to f*ckin' it ever year! Dubs use a hurley what we use most long things made of wood...

An offensive or defensive weapon! :D

You know the way at every karaoke, some pissed wimminz will sing "I will survive" as some sort of pro wmminz lib stance, well, here is the male rebuttal from thje irrepressable Chas n Dave. Its actually quite a catchy track

If it ever happens, i'll do what nine out of ten people are currently doing in recession Ireland...

... fleeing the country! Every mucker in the place will want my blood for destroying their hero, while i'll be considered a hero in my native Dublin, exiled for the cause. :)

That really annoys me, i'm all on for equality amongst sexes, no really. But why women feel the need to keep telling themselves (cos we already know!) that they're all empowering and stronger, and tougher and faster and whatever else Beyonce Knowles wants to throw in there to make herself the new millennium macho-woman!

Girls, you got your equal rights a long time ago, we're delighted for ya, but isn't it time to stop celebrating as the bra burning days are long gone? I know not all of them practice this, but the ones that don't and have moved on are laughing at you.

Sing it one more time, Bouncy!
"I'm a survivor, I'm a bus driver, gonna go faster, I'm gonna make it..."

    Eh.. right
