A starter and main course for €18.95 per person.
    see http://www.cafemao.com for details.
Locations off Grafton Street, Dundrum and Dun Laoghaire.

Was in there on Friday night for the first time in about 10 years and the foods still as good as ever. Brilliant value for Dublin city centre.

    slan,

That's a good offer. Only thing that bothers me about Mao is that they don't have a cheaper lunch menu; it's the same lunch and evening time. This makes it an expensive option for lunch, but this offer takes off the edge!

Cafe Mao, eh? What's next, cafe Stalin, cafe Hitler?

The only thing that bothers me is that they named a restaurant after a man who was responsible for one of the largest famines in human history.

and now they're trying to rectify the situation by feeding hungry people.

Jeeze, you tried to do good....

I must admit the dish where they put the fried egg on top is pretty nice.
