As mentioned in a few other threads, I thought it might be a good idea to set up a new thread so that we can all post tune recommendations in a slightly more formal manner. There is a massive wealth of knowledge and experience from the members on here and I for one think we should all make a bigger effort to share the music we all love so much. Kinda like the "Very Best Artist's/Albums Ever" thread but for individual tracks & New EP releases etc.

Please guys always include the following information:

Artist & Track Name: Include any label or remixer info too
Music Genre: Very important so we all know what to expect
Link to Sound Clip or Youtube video: A name of a track means little
Comments: Why you are recommending this track and any relevant background info that might be useful.

Any other links are always useful such as the artists website, myspace or www.last.fm page so we can explore their other tracks too.

Cheers lads lets see if we can kick this one off well!

I bought this jonny with the above one. Great tune. Totally agree with your opinions. For me music is going full circle and uplifting melodic piano rifts are now the sound. The next tune is on Rising Trax aswell. Bought it a month ago. Kicking funky house. Dirty baseline with an uplifting piano break. I think its ****ing deadly. :cool:

With the deluge of techno artists from all over the world making headlines, it's easy (although very wrong) to forget that techno was created in Detroit, Michigan by African-American visionaries like Kevin Saunderson, Juan Atkins and Derrick May. From there Kenny Larkin began his musical career in 1990 after serving two years in the U.S. Air Force, where he was repairing computers. not too sure how old it is but i recently gave it a spin and did the trick for me
jacking house with a serious bassline and when it breaks down into the full vocal bit,piano,bassline part(briefly)its magic:D

Another track I am loving at the moment from Mikkel Metal. This is from his latest album 'Peaks & Troughs' which is amazing from start to finish... more on the dub tip in general with this being the most upbeat of the lot - as with a lot of my purchases these days, I like easy listening :pac:

I'm always cynical when it comes to new mixes of old classics too, but Tom Middleton should know how to pull it off... which he does in this case.
