The Parents’ Associations of the five schools in Maynooth, St. Mary’s BNS, Presentation Girls’ Primary School, Gaelscoil Ui Fhiaich, Maynooth Educate Together National School and Maynooth Post Primary School have come together to give parents and guardians an opportunity to meet their public representatives and voice their opinions on these cuts.

LET YOUR CHILDRENS’ VOICES BE HEARD.

This is a unique opportunity as all of our local TDs and County Councillors will be present to hear how we, their electorate, feel about the education cuts. We, as parents and guardians, have a duty to protect our children and stand up for their rights. These cuts are an infringement of our children’s rights.

We all have choices to make. The government chooses where to make the cuts. We, the people, choose whom we elect to govern us.

OUR DEMANDS ARE SIMPLE – THE WITHDRAWAL OF THESE CUTS AND THE RESTORATION OF THE INVESTMENT IN EDUCATION PROMISED DURING THE ELECTION.

    Venue: The Glenroyal Hotel
    Date: Thursday, 27th November 2008
    Time: 8:00
