yup indeedy. mine was shipped from their UK offices and I was speaking to UKians about it when they were ar$ing around with my address confirmation thing. should be landing on my doorstep today though.

Got it at 5.52 this evening..

In a way, I'm somewhat happy and somewhat pissed.

Benefit is there'll be less chance of any customs in a post-Christmas delivery (if it is liable to customs).. am in no real rush for it. But just peeved a couple of people got theirs who ordered it in the misprice!

Regarding dabs.. sure it'd be here quicker and all, but I'm making a decent saving on it from TheHUt to be honest.

What is annoying is that they have the money and we don't have the goods.

just having a snout around online to see if i'll have any trouble dropping tiny or micro xp onto it tomorrow, all sorts on the msi wind and eeepc etc. but not much on the sammy netbook just yet. i guess i'll have to be a trend setter then.

might have to stick apache and wordpress back on a box here and put my blog back up if i end up doing much messing, might be worth documenting if there's much work involved in getting everything working right on it.

may consider dumping the current OS partition into a ghost image first just to be on the safe side too, unless it comes with a restore cd.

Its comes with a restore DVD and upon first boot into XP, it installs Samsung software and reboots to partition & backup to hidden partition software.

Its not the length of time it takes them to breed- its the excruciating extraction process and distillation necessary, to make a non-PCB version of sonic blue. Porky pink, now, on the other hand.......

Yahoo! Just taken delivery of one black NC10 from TheHut, delivery docket only, no tax receipt but no-one looking for any extra VAT/duty either.

Not a bad little item at all for the princely sum of €301 delivered . Probably will be a fingerprint magnet, just have to keep the hands clean so.

Wifey will be impressed on Xmas morning, no washing up that day for me.

I got the email from them this morning apologising for not dispatching it too, however it never appeared in the communication section in the 'My Account' section on their website. They probably were after realizing that it had been sent (from some bunch called 'Computer 2000', must be the wholesaler).

If I knew it was definitely coming I would be happy but this confusion is worse than being a kid on Christmas Eve.

They have not answered my messages on my accont but have sent an email similar to those above - that they are sorry and checking with suppliers

Haven't responded or heard from them since they gave me the estimated delivery date of 7th January 09!

Not particularly happy given I ordered mine on November 20th and people who ordered since then have recieved theirs. I even said to support staff in an e-mail that if they're having problems sourcing the blue models, I'll take a black model without haste to which they responded with:

Unfortunatley once an order has been placed it cannot be amended, Sorry!

Just back home from work, courier delievered it this afternoon to home..it was driving me crazy all day waiting to get home and play.
Tis a grand we yoke, much faster than I was expecting it to be. Preinstalled with bloatware of course which is currently being uninstalled. All in all though extremely happy.
I saw a white one in work today and being honest with myself it does look nicer than my black one, but for 300 yoyo's I'm over the moon

Same here, seems like a standard email arrived at 3.12am
I had sent a message through the message centre yesterday morning asking for a ballpark despatch date and haven't had a reply yet.

I'm heading away for 2 weeks on the 22nd. and my worst fear is that they will attempt delivery when I'm away and it will end up going back to thehut.

Will just have to continue the waiting game....
