Windows XP License

Hi,

Any suggestions as to where to get an xp license (and media)? A friend needs a copy for an old machine I am giving him and is insistent on having xp on it. It won't run vista in any case and they are willing to go down the Linux route.

XP Home edition should be fine for them.

I have spotted it for €82 on Komplett.ie or €78 on dabs.ie

Any suggestions as to where to get it cheaper would be appreciated if its possible at all.

A Vista CAL will cover Vista and any version below, so if your not able to get a XP once just use a Vista one.

Thanks for that, I had forgotten about the "downgrade" option. That may open up possibilities. The only problem being getting the xp media with it.
