Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    It's also incredibly fashionable and looks likely to stay.

    From my understanding thats exactly what it stands for,it depends to a large degree upon the shape of the diaphragm opening. as a result of this, alot of the image will have that lovely OOF look, but I would not call a photo with no out of focus highlights from either reflected light or light sources an image with 'lovely bokeh'. I think people see images with shallow DOF and actual Bokeh and think 'oh I can do that, and neglect to include any real Bokeh as they didnt realise thats what Bokeh is...

    Ok, so while the jap. word boke means fuzzy or blurred, bokeh in photography specifically refers to the effect where oof light spots look like orbs?
    Then this wouldn't count:
