    First book down -

A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini

    - fantastic book! Read it in one sittig (paid for that yesterday, was wrecked at work!). One of the true signs to me of a great read is one that makes me cry or laugh out loud and I was bawling towards the end of this. Such a matter of fact account of a woman's life in afghanistan.
    Would heartily reccomend the book!
