looking for upscaling dvd player .5.1 and usb

i missed out on a sony dvd plaer with 5.1 and had upscaling on it
i really need one asap now to complete my room.
usb and plays divx is a must also

excellent upscaler, buy it with the HDMI cable in a bundle and save yourself a few quid

not a bad idea to try and go for the same brand dvd player as your tv either to save you using more than 1 remote

No the same quality as the Oppo, but Samsung do one, upscales, USB connection and includes a 5.1 speaker package. Brother bought one, I'll check the model number this evening.

Hey, sorry to hijack the thread and all but my question is dvd player related.

I saw this there earlier. It looks great value and i think its what my aunt is looking for. She needs a dvd player, not recorder, with a usb port, that can show pictures on her television. One's with a usb port seem to be few and far between. This one does have a usb port, though. However there is no indication as to whether it has jpeg playback from a camera connected by usb. Is it likely that this can actually do this??
