Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi folks,

    I hope i've posted this in the right place (if not mods please feel free to move)

    I use a vodafone e-mail account with Microsoft outlook 2007 on my laptop. When i'm at home it works fine no issues. When i'm on a clients site using there broadband connection i can receive mails no problems but cant send.

    I use NTL broadband at home so the servers are;

    Incoming - pop.vodafone.ie

    Outgoing - smtp.upcmail.ie (NTL's server)

    Is there some way of changing the outgoing so that it will send the mail regardless of the broadband provider is?

    The only other way is changing the outgoing server everytime i'm on a different client site dont fancy doing that.

    thanks

    boom boom

    Do you have a username and password entered for the UPC SMTP server?

    Check with UPC as you may be able to send from their server at all times if you authenticate yourself while on an external network.
