Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    there are loads of free for home user antivirus products
    but other malware is probably a bigger threat than viruses so you may need other software too

    Avast does talk afaik,

    Avast is known to scare small children and pets.

    As with all software there are options to be silent and just update in the background, no more talking.

    +1 Avast.

    I still find it wierd that I can play Crysis and other such games with Avast running. I never shut it off.

    Ha, it's quite easy to turn that off. Freaked me out when I first heard it too.

    avg free 8, spybot search & destroy and ad-aware.....3 of these together and never had any problems
