Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How to get rid of damp smell

My sister owns a ground floor apartment and about 4 weeks ago her tenants noticed a drip of water coming from the ceiling. To make a long story short the source of the water was a leak from a small drip leak under the sink of the apartment directly above and it is believed that this leak was present for a while (1-3 months) before it was discovered. This has been repaired.
There is extensive damage to the ceiling slab which was removed early last week. She called me this morning to tell me there is still a bad mould smell when she went there this morning and wants to know if there is any way of speeding up the removal of this smell such as a spray or other such product.
