I'm thinking of moving from Vodafone. I use their webtext quite a lot and was just interested so know what the other providers webtext service is like?

Anyone use 3 or Meteor's webtext frequently?

can't comment on meteors or 3's webtext but I use O2 and vodafone webtext all the time and can say that O2's is miles better than vodafone..

With the o2 one you can text international numbers aswell as Irish numbers and you can send messages up to 1000 characters in size

I think the O2 one is horrificly designed though..

o2 allows you to send 1000 characters and international texts as neacy69 said but the website is down about 20% of the time.

    3 don't have webtexts.

meteor's are about the same as vodafone's. 300 to irish numbers and the site is reliable.

take a look at the programs in my sig if you're interested in webtexts

Used O2 webtext for a long time from overseas, they changed it recently and I just cannot seem to be able to send anything, its set quite awkward.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks alot.

I have textbuddy installed on all PCs I use (desktop and laptop at home, desktop in work).

Much handier than logging into a clunky web interface.

There's so many of these applications out there but they don't get around problems with the websites themselves being down (the general agreement on O2s webtexts) or the texts being delayed (my experience of Meteor recently).
