Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yeah, but both of them played for their clubs last weekend, where as Rio and Rooney were not even in their squads last weekend

mr alan actually did mention just being curious aswell. defensive.

coming from you Pvt, thats pretty hilarious :)

no, i am genuinely curious why the FA felt the need to make Steven Gerrard make a 500mile round trip to have test with their doctors after Liverpool said he was unfit, a diagnosis the england doctors agreed with. gerrard missed out on a day of treatment thanks to this decision from the FA.

i just hope Rio & Rooney were also made to make the trip seen as they are both fit as a fiddle to play today, or were the FA allowing Rooney & Rio all the time they needed to get fit for today.

    stinks tbh.

Yeah - after his "Spot on Mike" line, he's having a pop at United, obviously.

Gerrard played for Liverpool last week, neither Rio nor Rooney were in the United squad as United did not feel they were fit to play.

cause we'd be able to discuss it rationally unlike some Utd fans in this thread.

ps: get rid of the new user name man :(

Have you ever seen a decision that was so obviously given because the fans and the manager complained before? Shocking reffing. Make up your mind and stick to it for crying out loud.

**** what a tackle from ashley young there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,372 ✭✭✭✭Mr Alan

    great ****ing tackle by young

  • Moderators, Regional South East Moderators Posts: 9,049 Mod ✭✭✭✭Aquos76

That was a fine challenge there from Young. Park has had a very lively first half

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,677 ✭✭✭Chong

    This is shocking so far.

Park is the only player thats impressed me today. Tevez is so dis-interested so far, this is a chance to prove his worth and he is doing sod all.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 605 ✭✭✭ghouldaddy07

united starting to play with abit of purpose at least.

  • Moderators, Education Moderators Posts: 9,648 Mod ✭✭✭✭mayordenis

not sure about all these free kicks in and around the villa box. :/

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,675 ✭✭✭genericgoon

Ronaldo letting someone else take a freekick!?

Albeit a crossing rather than shooting one.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,677 ✭✭✭Chong

Rubbish first half from a United POV.

Only players showing an interest are Park, Giggs, and Carrick.

Shocking is abit harsh tbf, we have dominated the game all thats missing is alittle spark up front but Park was inches away and Young made a fantastic possible goal saving challenge. Im confident we can get the win we need based on the first half showing.

I will agree with you about Tevez though looks very off the pace.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,677 ✭✭✭Chong

Ya maybe I am harsh, but Tevez really does need these games to prove he is worthy of a place in the first team ahead of Berba and he hasnt done so in any game so far where has been given these opportunities.

Tevez doesn't have to prove anything.

Can everyone please stop talking ****e for no reason? It's really getting tiresome.

    ---

Not a bad half from United imo. We're dominating possession. I think either Tevez or Giggs should come off for Anderson. I'd also maybe give Welbeck a shot, see if he can get a run going.

Then how does expect to get back in the squad as first choice.

He needs to prove he can do the job in Berba's or Roon's Absense.

So far so good for Villa.

He has proved it for a full season and this season before Berbas arrival, judging him on 45 minutes where United have been cack attacking wise is jumping the gun a bit.

So you want United to win! ;) Then again if both teams could lose that would suit better! :pac:

nah, need to keep as many points ahead of Utd as possible

:( its Not Villas fault LFC and FSW and their tapping up ways were exposed?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,372 ✭✭✭✭Mr Alan

not the thread for it Invincible, needless to say, you're post is nonsense. pm me if ya wanna discuss it further, not really sure wat tapping up has to do with anything.

It was the same last game , he was poor against Stoke. I am not saying it based on this game but if he continues like this he will stay on the bench when roon and berba are fit.
