    Good video
but looking out for cyclists IS a part of driving anyway, whereas looking for a moonwalking bear wasn't part of the task in that video so you could even argue that if you saw it you weren't paying full attention to the task at hand

Great ad alright. I know the poster above mentioned that looking for cyclists is a part of driving, but it makes you think. I cycle quite a bit and the amount of incidents where the driver uses the excuse 'sorry about that, didnt see you' is frightening.

The most frequent incident is people edging out of roundabouts and looking to the right for their gap, but end up nudging the back wheel because they're not looking forwards.

Indeed. Even crossing the street walking with a large buggy in 10km/h traffic the number of drivers that just don't see you is shocking. Best just presume all drivers are blind ignorant eejits for your own safety especially when vulnerable (walking, cycling, on a motor bike, etc.)

The main rule I stick to is -

If cycling, all drivers are idiots and careless

If driving, all cyclists are idiots and careless

Worked ok so far, exluding one idiot driver..
