The fact you have to wait for the games annoyed me i got to play bowling chess and echochrome.

I wasn't being negative about it in the slightest in my earlier post. Not many people where talking this morning i got talking to 2 people and only because we were playing a game at the time!

But if you could get help for a tech question it would be great! I certainly see its quality's im just worried alot of it will revolve around marketing for sony. After we've paid for the final version!!
Just hate to see what it will be like when its completely up and running with thousands of people in it all waiting to play arcade games!

Anyway great fun killed loads of time this morning.

Theres only going to be a certain amount of people in one session of anything ,thats what I was told from a few people.
I thought that everything buffered in home ,the cinema previews do anyways. If you go back in a second time it loads instantly.

quick question... Do you have to pay "real" money for "virtual" crap???

I dont get this home malarky! Why not go out in the real world and meet real people??

It's going to be just like playing a game ,there'll be addons you can buy if you want.

What I find great about using home is when you're having a conversation with someone ,someone else sees what your talking about and joins in.
Before you know it ,you've got 4-5 people having a conversation albeit typed out ,about anything from irq's to the latest tunes being played in ibiza.
Theres a few people I talk to regurlarly now ,one is a web developer of a major uk website. Another few lads are journalists and writers for gaming magazines, one of them is irish.

or else they could be spot'y teenagers living at home who have no social skills and wish to live in the virtual world instead of the real world...

but hey, who am i to judge! different strokes for different folks!

p.s ask the journalist how much pocket money he gets a week;)

Jeez give it a rest , I've been on their websites and talked to them aswell over the mic.
I hear clearasil is good if you're that worried about it.

A lot of people have the playstation eye ,they have their picture in their messages.
Trust me ,theres some ugly mugs out there alright ,mostly bags under the eyes though from staying up all night playing games I suppose.:D
In general though ,you can tell by the conversations what people might be like.

when does it go on general release/ general download to all?

Home is down this morning as Sony are adding stuff to the Shopping Centre. This stuff will be paid for content when the Beta opens later this month, however, for those of us in the closed Beta it is available free for a limited time. Exciting news or 'meh'?

Apparently Home will have a mix of free and paid for DLC when it opens. Kinda like the model for LBP DLC at the moment.

Sony have said it will definately get released this month, but haven't elaborated. My guess is a week and a half from now.
