Flush Fit Tyre Valves

Considering fitting flush fit valves to my wheels. Apart from the obvious draw backs of needing an adapter to top them up are there any draw backs? Anyone good/bad experience with them? I think they will look a little neater but main reason is to make cleaning around the valve area easier, sad I know!:D
