I seen one place in Donegal selling for 99.9c today but strangely enough there was a filling station I passed just outside of Drogheda yesterday and it was selling at 112.9 :eek:

A good place to check out prices is www.pumps.ie

Before the drop I found a place in Coachford that is one of the cheapest in the Cork Area.

Same in Tesco Clarehall (99.9). It's a nice feeling to get more litres than the number of Euro you're shelling out , and the 10c voucher makes a huge difference - I've a ~65 litre tank, so an extra 6.50 saving on a fill is decent!

Get this......... Corrib Oil in Ballinsloe was 98.9p for Diesel Yesterday (Tank filled) However in Tuam last night and Diesel In Corrib Oil there is 109.9.....

Now why is that?

99.9 for petrol and diesel in Tesco, Tullamore also.
Can anyone tell me when it was last below 1euro. I'm sure it's not that long ago but it has certainly felt it. Still remember getting 14l from a score of diesel not so long ago, got 20.02 last night!

Its funny how close in price petrol and diesel still are, especially seeing as diesel didn't have the 8c increase applied to it like petrol had...

I would have thought diesel would have been at least 6-8c cheaper than petrol as a result...... strange indeed

Diesel was cheaper than petrol for years but now due to world demand or some Bull, its dearer than petrol. The Extra 8 cent in the budget brought petrol level with diesel again. Don't be surprised if the Government throw another few pence on it in the new years mini budget! Its good at the moment to get more litres for the euro on the pump!

No, 82.9p is 94.08c.

I also got petrol in Newbridge town tonight for 91.9c (Diesel is 88.9c)

By today's rate it's 87.5c... If you were up North anyway or live near the border it's a good bit cheaper to fill up there.

You are correct, apologies all round. I used xe to get that figure last night tho. Got a couple of *ERROR* messages before the figure popped up, so I apparently confused xe.com when calculating.
