Anyone see the ad in the Sunday times motoring section today for Pat Keogh BMW? They are running a proper auction to get rid of trade in's and there appears to be some genuine value available

    http://www.patkeogh.com/Terms.aspx
    http://www.patkeogh.com/Stocklist.aspx

2006 Merc E280 cdi with reserve price of €19500
    2004 X5 3.0 diesel reserve €29k
2006 730d reserve €22450, few bids in on that already
    2006 535d M Sport reserve €39K
    2008 116 ES reserve €20k

Looks like dealers are starting to get creative in an attempt to get stock moving, wonder will we see more ideas like this?
According to the ad auction closes Monday night at midnight and cars are sold once bid is at or over reserve!

Reserves look high to me if they're trying to sell stuff they won't sell much at this rate. Turners Cross Motors in Cork are having one too next week, closing down.
