MSN Proxy

We recently got Eircom broadband in the house and I set it up as wired.
However I also activated the wireless a few weeks ago.
However every time I try to connect to MSN Messenger from my laptop using the Wifi connection it fails, but it works fine on the wired connection.
Don't understand it as MSN connects grand for me in college.
The error I'm getting is the Key Ports are incorrect.
My proxy is set to the UCD proxy as that was the first place I used my laptop.
Would I have to set it to my home proxy in order to get it to work at home?
And does that mean it won't work in college then?
    Any help is much appreciated.
    Cheers

You need to remove the proxy to use it at home.

You need no proxy on your own broadband connection.

Cheers man. It's looking for a username and pass to let me remove it.
I'm guessing you have to get this from your network admin.
    So in this case UCD?
