    Drogheda Doc Struck Off

    A former consultant surgeon at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda has been struck off the medical register for professional misconduct.
    It follows an inquiry into complaints that Dr Michael Shine indecently or sexually assault male patients.
    Today President of the High Court Mr Justice Richard Johnson confirmed the Medical Council's decision to erase Dr Shine's name from the medical register.
