Good Skype / VOIP phone?

Hi,

Hope this is the right forum - I'm looking to get a good quality skype phone as a present for someone, and I have absolutely no ideas what the good ones are.

Is there such a thing as a Skype phone that looks like a normal portable phone (e.g. docking station, address book etc) but uses your broadband connection?

USB ones aren't ideal, and the big desktop ones aren't either.

My Advice is get E61 or E61i
Skype is crap belive me ...too expensive .... there is lots of diffrent providers which are good like VOIPdiscount.com
E61 have option to setup SIP (settings for VOIP )
once u have good WiFi connection and u subscribe to VOIP (10 euro every 3 months ) you can have all calls to landline within Ireland and many countries around the world as many u want for FREE

From the sounds of it the 3 sykpe phone won't do what your looking for....or will it? It can now be used to call around the world using skype out...

You should drop the guys over at skyperactive a mail and see have they something to suit if it's a fixed line phone your after...

Thanks folks - the phone that skype themselves sell on the site does both fixed line and VOIP wirelessly, which I think ticks all the boxes, but I will check out the other links too.
