Alarm Clock Radio with specific features...?

    I'm a lousy sleeper and my wife sleeps like a six month old!

    When I can't sleep, I listen to the radio using an earphone.

    For the last few years, I have been using a Roberts R983.

    Unfortunately, the digital display has packed up (for the second time in seven years - the first time Roberts repaired it without charge) and it is now unusable. Bummer!

    This set has exactly the features I need and I am wondering if anyone knows of a similarly featured set?

    1. An earphone socket that is easily accessible - on the Roberts it is on the side of the set.

    2. A dim-able display - the Roberts display can be turned off completely.

    3, The KEY feature....! If I fall asleep with the earphone plugged in, the alarm is NOT muted. Again, the Roberts has this feature. Brilliant.

    Does anyone know of a set that has the above features?
