Hi, we have just moved from Germany to Cork. I have heared we have to buy books as our son is in school. He will be going to first class i guess. (age 5 years and 10 months ) So is there any secondhand shop or other possibilty to buy cheap books , bcz our situation right now is not buy expensive books.

    kind regards

at this time of year you are unlikely to find secondhand school books (august and june are usually the best time) however try this website

    http://www.schoolbooks.ie/

they are based in dublin and from what I hear have decent prices, they also deliver :)

Ps: you should get a list of books from the school as there are preferred textbooks as well as some standard ones , you can easily get a list by contacting the school ahead of time.
