Anyone been to there local Zavvi ?

I went to ours in Limerock today, got 2 new cd's and a dvd for 18 euro was well chuffed.

40% of each item.

Damnit, worst possible time really. Berlin, student science ball thing, gigs, rag week, Barca, more gigs and America all keeping my money well and truely scarce until September. I would love a ps3 for that price. :pac:

ha I got a ps3 there for €280 a week or so ago. I imagine manage too sell whatever they had at that price. Can't see them having any in stock at this stage.

In September when you would actually have time to use it Im sure the price will be down to around there anyway.

i went in on friday, got 8 DVD's and Unreal Tournament 3 on PC for 56euro's! Ridiculous stuff! They had stickers on the DVD's with the 30% off price shown, and then they took another 30% off again at the till!

yeah the sticker means " 30% off price shown" , which is the 30% they took off at the till

they had all the movies that had been 10 with a sticker on them saying "Clearout 6.99" and then at the till they went down again. Selection wasn't the best in there, nearly any time i thought of a movie i wanted, it wasn't there, but still plenty of good finds.
