Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    That was a cracking episode.

    Loved the initiation....

The initiation ceremony consist of several tasks:

    1. Leap of Faith (the blindfolded candidate has to jump from a height of about a foot)
    2. Crossing the Desert (the candidate has to walk between to lines of Stonecutters, everyone paddles his rear end with a bat)
    3. The Unblinking Eye (the candidate has to walk between to lines of Stonecutters, everyone paddles his rear end with a bat)
    4. The Wreck of Hesperus (the candidate has to walk between to lines of Stonecutters, everyone paddles his rear end with a bat)
    5. The Paddling of the Swollen Ass ..., with Paddles (speaks for itself).

    Great song too

    “Who controls the British crown?
Who keeps the metric system down?
    We do! We do!
Who leaves Atlantis off the maps?
Who keeps the Martians under wraps?
    We do! We do!
Who holds back the electric car?
Who makes Steve Guttenberg a star?
    We do! We do!
Who robs the cave fish of their sight?
    Who rigs every Oscar night?
    We do! We do!”

Ah but what about Irish? Support your local tongue. :pac:

Have you ever been to China yourself? I've been learning about the country in my history course and it's really caught my imagination. I'd love to see the Forbidden City.

Serious ? I recall people on here insinuating that you were an American not so long ago. If your more than 5000 miles from Ireland then you could only be on the western seaboard of the US as the Eastern seaboard is only a little over 3000 miles from Ireland. Beijing is just over 5000 miles also, hmm. Before any questions as to how I know that its related to my job !

Ermmm.... while I appreciate the interest.. I'm not sure when this became an interview :p

I post on Bigsoccer.com, but their EPL talk isn't as good as here (although it isn't half as trolly). I know some boards.ie people. I've spent maybe 30 days in Ireland.. total!

I guess the interview is over then!! :)

Bigsoccer looks to be fairly wide ranging at first glance. Will give it a look.

My league is during winter April - September. The A League is August - February so it doesn't clash with the AFL and egg chasin.
