But a cookie is a variety of biscuit, you can't call every biscuit a cookie though.

Also, Sweets and Sweeties > Candy. Wtf like.

    What's wrong with me shoes?

That word Brogue comes from the Irish Gaelic word "Bróg", meaning shoe.

It was said that Irish people spoke like they had a shoe on their tongue

    You know what's worse?

In Ausland they call everything like that "lollies".

    that's a real wtf.

Lollies weirdos, that's what happens when you start a country out of murderers and rapists.... IM KIDDING DONT BAN ME!

Also, I have some questions, how does one dissect ones post in a quote like you just did, separating each paragraph of the quote up?

Also, wtf does Merc/ Merk/ Mercing mean, I hear English people say it all the time. Does it mean **** or something.

Also, don't criticise us for calling shoes by the Irish equivalent, you call them sneakers/ kicks... Pffft...

And American people with the insertion of z instead of s. It's not criticize, my spell checker tried to correct my spelling of it up there. Silly safari.

Ask Rio Ferdinand. He "merk's" people in his show.

Basically, it's doing a Jeremy Beadly on someone.

Ah balls, I thought there might be a built in function for that, lazy phb programmers.

Dizzee Rascal says something wanting to Merc a girl in one of his songs, so I thought it was sex or something.

Nah, it's not possible, he says he hurt his leg playing football with his mates once (I think), so seeing as he didnt complain about breaking a nail or something, we can assume it's a he. (kidding, again)

Am I being very unpolitically correct tonight?

    No, you call biscuits "scones".
Also, Sweets and Sweeties > Candy. Wtf like.

No way. What sort of a crappy song would "I want sweeties" be.

No way would I dress up in a japanese schoolgirl costume and sing THAT at a karaoke bar!

    Oh grow up!
I just asked if he had a spare room. It's kinda hard to seduce someone through a wall.

If Des said he was going to Australia and asked about a spare room, they both suddenly wouldn't be gay.

Yes, but it's based on You've been served, a film about a Hip Hop dance scene with lots of slang.

Scones COULDNT be more different to biscuits, even the name suggest that biscuits are much more crunchy and sweet.

Yes, Des would be called gay if he said that. :pac:

Chong my man, I wouldn't worry about getting tickets to a Barca game in advance at all. 90% of games you can just purchase at kiosks throughout the city. Also, if you have any trouble, I know some soci's, I gave up my membership a few years ago, but if you are really stuck I could ask my uncle/ friends.

I'm pretty sure my team would kill your team and I play with some pretty girls :p

Actually I got sent off last week. They had a showboater player and I tracked him back to midfield (he'd taken the ball off me) and challenged him for the ball just at the touchline. He went over and landed on the ball and when the ball broke loose the assistant said that the ball hadn't crossed the line for a throw, so I kicked the ball (pretty hard) off the guy on the ground. I got a second yellow card for unsportsmanlike conduct :)

    Was worth it though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,677 ✭✭✭Chong

Legend Cheech, I was going to buy a membership, but damn they are dear, 150 snots is alot.

Even though I was thinking of going to the Barca Derby would you still think that would be feasible , as in buying tickets not long before the game?

Want to bet? Every season there is a cup for students doing maths/ physics in our uni. As first years we won quite easily, this season we have 3 players from the senior team, and 2 players from the junior team, I can guarantee one of them will go on to play for Cork City easily. We beat the 3rd years 10-2 today :P. This is just a mess around team though, still think we'd beat you though. :pac: Im sure you play for the equivalent of Chivas girls team, and that you're a much better player than I am! But how boring would this place be without a little trash talk?

On my league team we have three current state allstars on our team and 5 former state allstars and a youth international keeper :)

On my co-ed team, we have only have 5 current/former allstars an ex-QPR youth player (he was offered a place with Leeds when QPR shut their youth team down but went to the US instead) and a former MLS player.

Just to put things in perspective, an allstar player would be top-16 in their university league each year.

    also, I played semi-pro :)

Don't go near Midleton Very Rare. It's good, but not 120euro good.

If you can get 16 year Laphroaig anywhere that stuff is dynamite.

The Bushmills Anniversary Select is supposed to be good according to someone I work with. Haven't tasted it myself though.

Failing either of those an 18 year old Jameson is always a good buy.

Just trying to think of what we have in work now. I'm sure more will come to me!
