Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Legend.

I mean in the sense that, he doesn't do that whole thing of letting the press know when he will be somewhere, so they can photo him looking 'random', like most of the d-listers do these days.

Sure, he's no shrinking violet in front of them, but I think that's because he realise's anything else would be futile. I'm sure if he had his way, his face would never be in a redtop ever again.

    It's not about alcohol.

Oh know, I realise that. I'm just saying what the song does for me. I know that for the most part, it's not a positive song, but every time I hear it, it puts me in a good mood.

    Best lyricist alive, imo.

I hate people who disrespect the "tabloid" Pete, and dismiss his musicalong with it.

    Awseome musician and singer

    no no no no no

    think he is shockingly over-rated.

couple of good libertines tracks, almost everything i've heard of his solo stuff is gash

"music when the lights go out" is a beautiful outstanding song though.

just out of curiousity did anyone who slated the U2 vid actually watch it?

I did , Bullet in the Blue Sky.

I like some their stuff, but my dislike for Bono out weighs everything.

Doing loads for charity is good, harpin on about how much u do for charity so people will think you're great = in it for the wrong reasons.

Tbh, I just dislike the Irish worship of U2 as the second coming of Jebus. they're a decent enough run of the mill rock band who write about (well used to) edgy subjects. They're nothing special IMO.

Any wanker that sends a private jet half way around the world, to collect a fcukin hat of all things, is in no position to be lecturing and preaching others what to do with their money.

Also, pay some tax ya bastid.

Bono doesnt ask people for money (live AID is the only exception)

He tries to pressurise governments to change their policies in regards to debt & trade with the third world.

In order to do this, he has to be public about it, its kinda of wat pressurises the governments in question.

    Ryan Adams is not over-rated, as we speak i'm listening to this;

This less like a forum and more like an IRC chatroom it moves so fast.

My points on some of the topics:

    Bono is a pleb.
Pete Donherty is a stain on humanity.
A grand don't come for free is one of the best put-together albums of the last decade.

Gentlemen, I bid you good night.
