Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Charles, you ever listen to Rickys Podcasts?

I do indeed. Brilliant stuff altogether, and I would recommend them to all my OTT brothers.

I heard all the Guardian ones when they came out, and I am currently about half way through the XFM collection.

Really makes the bus journeys to and from work enjoyable. There's times that I LOL on a Monday morning bus, at about 8 am. People must think I am a right tard.

Yeah, i'll be checking them out. The XFM stuff will always be the best though. The innocence and pure simplicity of Karl is hilarious.

Tbh I tend to agree with Frisbee and Eze here dude, I find him to be so blunt in the way he presents the show, Preston from the Ordinary Boys episode is a classic.

    watching the newest one now.
    Kelly Jones is good

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,815 ✭✭✭Charlie

My main gripe with him is that he goes way overboard, and takes unnecessary pot shots (except in the case of Tourettes). He knows that in the sanctity of his television studio, these guests will be unable to react appropriately to him. The stuff with Preston was below the belt. Like her or not, yer wan had just got married to him. Was he supposed to just sit there and grin while this little scrout disrespected his missus on national tv.

I highly doubt he would be spouting the same sh/t if he just bumped into them in the street.

Ya but you have to question was it Amstell or the writers, cause I have seen him laugh whilst reading the autocue as its so outrageous.

Of course he wouldn't, that's what comedians do though, laugh and mock the world around the from the sanctity of their own stage.
