Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Agreed, Alan Davies comes out with some quality lines too. Have you read Stephen Fry's autobiography? Best biography I've ever read, truely a lovely man.

There's nothing like living with your best mates though Charlie, some of my best memories are just from living in town with 5 of my best buds for a summer.

I've done that twice (Vancouver & New York), and agreed, some epic memories.

However, those sorts of living arrangements would not bode well when you're back living in grey Dublin, and you have to be up for 7am.

I lived with my mates in Sydney and Melbourne, and was able to do that.

Work in the week, then go to the 24 hour bar after work on the friday, not going home until sunday arvo.

No no, that's my point, of course living it up in Vancouver and New York would be awesome, but it's amazing when you're with your mates at college too. Coming home from a hard cold day to your mates and get a PES tournament going, or sip a few brewskies with the boys. Definitely better than living at home for free, worrying about taxi's home and transport in general.

Ah don't get me wrong, it is do-able, but when you live with 9 lads for a summer, constantly have your food nicked, and forever uncloggig a jax, you quickly realise that, back home, you would only live with one or two mates.

heh, I lived with three women and one other bloke.

unclogging the jacks = woman's job

There are many downsides, for which you are sugar coating.

Unclogging was the least of our worries. The whole apt flooded 4 inches deep one time because of the jax. We had to fight of Racoons because some mong kept leaving rubbish beside the back door, and Christ almighty, god forbid you had to get up early one morning and expect to find a single clean dish, or a drop of milk that hadn't of been pinched.

No, no. Great bunch of lads, seriously.

But when you squash 9 of us, (in a NYC apt.) or 11 (in a house in Vancouver) things get very messy, and very dog eat dog. The good times were immense, I wouldn't swap them for the world. But had I been carrying a proper job when I was on those trips, I would have had a falling down moment on a daily basis.

No Kens Des, leave that sort of abuse for Neil.

    jeez, that's rough.

About a 5 min walk from there (well, to the entrance of the main soccer pitches). I have heard some horrible stories about sh/t that has went on in that place.

When I was younger, myself and a few mates used to cycle through the park, in the pitch dark to save time, after training in Pauls. I would literally be bricking it. Don't think I could do it now.

It's his Chinese Democracy. It's been on hold for donkey's years.

As far as producers go, no one comes close to Dre.

I have all the Dretox demos, there's 24 songs, is it frowned upon to post the rapidshare link where people can download it from?
