The third season of the boards Xpert11 league is coming to a close. If anyone would like a team in season 4, please let me know. The game only takes up about 5 mins each week to set up tactics etc. Its very simple. The new season will start on the 5th Jan

Quantum of Solace was a really weird James Bond film, much grittier with basically no cool gadgets.

I'm not a Bond fan but I did enjoy Casino Royale. Quantum of Solace was a load of balls though, complete mess of a movie.

Really liked Casino Royale too. Like the ending in Quantum was ****ing shocking too, I was starting to enjoy it mid way through but then it just turned pants. Total pants.

Craig is a good Bond. Casino was deadly. QOS wasnt really a "Bond movie" in terms of cheesiness but there were some farcical sub plots which ruined it.

That's exactly why I thought Casino Royale was quality though, it stepped away from the Bond films where he'd kill 250 guards in 20 minutes. Perfectly summed up at the bar scene when he asks for a Martini, the person behind the bar asks 'shaken or stirred' and Craig says something like 'I dont bloody care'. :pac:

Which was cool because it shunned the vodka martini thing AND gave us a bit of cursing - two anti-bond measures.

I think Des should actually apply for the Blackburn job, noting all the Boardeaux experience on the C.V. Surely, Blackburn would have to respond out of courtesy and then you could put the rejection letter up on Boards.
