Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Yes. But not a test to see if you will spend more. Being on a budget means you actually have to think about the present rather than go get out and get something shiny an expensive and say sure I spent X amount on her she can hardly complain. Now you actually have to think about the present as you won't have that excuse.

    So although you save money the time and effort required to think of something meaningful and worthwhile for your budget might not be worth it.

    I would tell your getting what your getting and stop trying to put your rules on me bint.

    Be careful though. If you treat it as a test and she actually means it, and you've trumped her present in terms of spending, that could go down rather badly too.

    Jeez such a rookie mistake too.

    Women say no presents = get lots of little things. Therefore you can say oh they are only little bits. I couldn't get you nothing.

    Women say budget = get something that means something and not just something shiny. This is what she wants.

    Women say "I really don't mind what you get me" = It better be big, expensive, and possibly mean something.

    Actually, I'm not thinkin outside the box here, her birthday is only a few days before xmas and I bought her a shedload for the birthday so if it becomes a problem I will politely remind her that i outspent what she got for MY birthday and that we're even!!

    Em, well I COULD do that, but mein problem lies in that her birthday is BEFORE xmas. I suggested the budget because I got wind that she was plannin on spendin a fortune on me even tho shes in debt so i told her I'd kick her @ss if she did. So we set a limit. It'd be poor form of me to go over if she stuck to it.

    I could hold one back, but then if she has kept to it, and so have I, then I wouldnt really be able to give the present to her would I!!
