Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

actually, your completely on the ball, in my case anyway. I was expecting after christmas to be manic, with people playing with (and breaking) they're new stuff, but yeah it seems everyone today is at home to give me their serial number and go through 4million 5hundred and 70 thousand procedures and eventually find that they've installed some beta program which has broken everything.

Loads of christmas shopping to do after work as well. Gonna be a looong day.

Be careful when walking down Henry St in Dublin. You may find a little voice remaining in your head when you leave it, repeating over and over and over "Mach 3 blades. Two packs for a tenner".

I bought them things last year.

    Worse than bic disposables.

And here, monkey9, if you are going on about the street sellers, you have to type in their accent,

"getchoor mack trdee blay-uds, tzoofurda tzennurrr"

I've agreed to work overtime until 7.15 tonight.

Going straight to the boozer afterwards to watch Chelsea Everton with my Chelsea supporting mate.

He only started liking football 4 years ago. :pac:

He was probably a Blackburn fan back in the early 90s.

Big time, got it for almost half what its apparantly worth from the standard valuation's. In theory it should have been between 13 and 14 thousand, he put it up on Autotrader for that and hadn't gotten a nibble - I ended up getting it for under 8! Immaculate condition, full service history, leather seats, alloys, all the extra's, not a scratch on it. Happy happy me :) Diesel too which is excellent for my future bank balance. Averages out at 51 miles per gallon, but i was even getting 90 on the better roads this morning on the way to work!

Evening all, work is ridiculously busy.
Old biddies complaining about the state of the place after we've just received 7 pallets of beer into the shop and there's only two of us putting them in the already overcrowded fridge.

So in keeping with today's theme: Stoopid general public...

Thank God that day is over. Although there is no God considering the type of day it was.

    Evening lads.

Would agree with a few others, I was expecting a cushty lax day in work, but it was busy enough. To make things worse, there seems to be a bout of the flu going around our office (no, it's not people pulling sickies) and I have a funny feeling I will catch it probably tomorrow, slap bang in time for Xmas. :(

Had to finish the rest of my Xmas shopping in town this evening. My god, what a cnutish experience that was (20 min Q's in HMV ). Have gotten alot of stuff online this year, and if possible, will get it all from there next year. Never going through the Henry St. cattlemart again, unless I absolutely have to.

Had an Eddies with my sister on the way home, and now I have the food sweats. :D

morning folks. Hoping to get the last of my christmas shopping done after work today.

Hilarious chap working here, most Irish man ever. Big guy with a belly to match, long hair strewn everywhere, cascading down the back of his stretched 1990 Ireland jersey. Has exactly the voice you'd think he does too and calls everyone Ma'am and Sir, with the intonation of a peasant speaking to the landed gentry.

Shopping in Xmas week is unholy.

Although, I suppose in small town like yours it wouldn't be too bad.

    Afternoon lads,

I think the last few weekends of excess have given me some kind of throat/gland infection. Oh well. I know the doctor would prescribe copious amounts of alcohol so I'll skip the consultation and go straight for the prescription!!
